2. Preference should be given to a hedge than the qualities provided by fencing. The provision for privacy is superior, keeping little ones and family animals secure on either side. It is likely to attract birds due to the way it provides shelter for them, and it will give a setting that will enhance flowers and plants.

3. Don't just have your garden out ther, but take it closer to you; hyacinths can be planted near doors and near paths. Their magnificent perfume will swamp the spring air to produce a garden atmosphere you would never have believed possible.

4. Bring you garden to the things that don't belong in a garden, lamp posts and mail boxes being an example. Surround these items with flowers planted to have the advantageous elements of flowers that go from the earliest to flower right up to the ones that flower last. A suitable selection might be made up of snowdrops that are white, purple and gold crocus, blue hyacinths, and various colored tulips. You could also surround the posts with rocks which will give better interest to the items.

5. Simple, but effective weed control is an achievement that your lawn can experience by mowing often during spring. The prevention of dandelion spread will be caused by the yellow blossoms being taken out as well as the formation of seeds being prevented. A highness of mowing is good in early summer, carrying on from late spring. The shading of the ground by grass blades will thereby be allowed, and will help prevent crabgrass from sprouting.
