Smother such mundane things with planted flowers to take advantage of flowers that go from the earliest to flower right up to the ones that flower last. You could have white snowdrops, purple and gold crocus, blue hyacinths, and various colored tulips. Rocks and boulders should be placed at the base of the posts to enhance their appearance.

5. The control of weeds can be achieved on your lawn by mowing often during spring. This will prevent dandelions spreading by eliminating the yellow blossoms and stopping seeds to form. Mow high during late spring and early summer. Grass blades can thereby be allowed to shade the ground, and the total suppression of crabgrass sprouting will be achieved.

The garden and the lawn that you own should be a source of pride and beauty. You don't need to spend lots of money on expensive fertilizers and herbicides, or either chairs and tables, or statues, etc for the lawn. Some careful preplanning will take you as far as you need to go to making your lawn and garden a much better place.
