4. Add your garden to nongarden items, for example, your mail box and any lamp post. Smother such mundane things with planted flowers to benefit from flowers that go from the earliest to flower right up to the ones that flower last. You could have white snowdrops, purple and gold crocus, tulips of whatever color, as well as hyacinths that are blue. Rocks and boulders should be placed at the base of the posts to provide added interest.

5. The control of weeds is an achievement that your lawn can experience through the choice of springtime as a suitable time to mow often.
