4. Bring you garden to the things that don't belong in a garden, such as lampposts and mail boxes. Surround these items with flowers planted to benefit from the first to the last to flower. You could have white snowdrops, crocuses of a purple or gold hue, tulips of a variety of colors, and hyacinths colored blue. Rocks and boulders should be placed at the base of the posts to provide added interest.

5. Simple, but effective weed control may take place on the environs of your lawn through the oft repeated mowing action when it is springtime. The prevention of dandelion spread will be caused by the yellow blossoms being taken out and preventing seed formation. A highness of mowing is good in early summer, carrying on from late spring. Grass blades can thereby be allowed to shade the ground, and the sprouting of crabgrass will also be prevented from happening.

Your lawn and garden is expected to be somewhere that your pride and your creation's beauty shines through. The expense of considerable sums is unecessary on expensive fertilizers and herbicides, or either chairs and tables, or statues, etc for the lawn. A little commonsense and thought will take you as far as you need to go towards creating a garden and a lawn a space that you prefer.
